How old you do you need to be?

🪓You must be 13 or older to throw axes with parent or guardian. Except on Friday and Saturday nights after 7pm where we are exclusively 18+

What is appropriate attire?

🪓Be comfortable – it’s a sporting event!

🪓During the warmer months, we recommend dressing in loose, cool clothing. Chill in the air? We do keep it cool, so a flannel, sweater, or sweatshirt is a good idea.

🪓For safety purposes, we don’t allow open-toe shoes or sandals

Can I bring my own hatchet?

🪓Sorry, you cannot bring your own hatchet. Our insurance policy requires all of the hatchets to be supplied by us.

What if guests are not following the rules?

🪓Stumpy’s reserves the right to terminate any guest’s experience if the rules aren’t being followed.

Will someone teach us how to throw?

🪓Every group will have one of our Axe-pert throwing coaches who will teach you the rules and proper throwing technique. They can also help you learn the proper way to score and different games you can play.

What if I am not good at axe throwing?

🪓Our coaches are fantastic at teaching you the ropes. You will be hitting bullseyes in no time.

🪓To spice up your night, included in your admission are many other classic games like, giant Jenga, cornhole, giant connect 4, fling puck and many more. Plus we have $1 games of pool, basketball, skee ball and a test your strength boxing machine.

Who can participate?

🪓Anyone age 13 and up can throw. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Friday and Saturday nights after 7pm we are 18+ only.

Do we need a reservation or can we just walk in?

🪓We always recommend reserving your throwing times. All groups at Stumpy's are guarnteed their own private throwing area. This means on busy nights we have limited space and can sell out of spots. The easiest way to guarantee your spot is to book online with a small deposit. The deposit will go towards the entire balance when you arrive.

🪓On the off chance you want to try and walk-in we will gladly accept you if we have space but understand walk-ins are never guaranteed.

Will you put us with strangers?

🪓All axe throwing areas are PRIVATE. We will never match you with strangers.

What is the cost to throw axes?

🪓You can expect to pay as low as $20 per person for 1.5 hours or $25 per person for 2 hours. Each throwing pit consists of a lounge area that can hold up to 8 people and has 2 throwing lanes.

Can we have spectators?

🪓Spectators are welcome however each throwing area holds a limited amount of people. All guests whether they are throwing or not count as participants and you will need to include spectators in the amount of guests you are bringing when making a reservation.

🪓For example each pit holds up to 8 people. If you have 5 people throwing and 3 spectators you will only need to reserve 1 pit. However if you will have 7 throwers, plus 4 spectators you will need to reserve 2 pits.

What else is there to do?

🪓All guests in addition to axe throwing can play any of the other games around the facility. Classic games like, giant jenga, cornhole, giant connect 4, fling puck and many more. Plus we have $1 games of pool, basketball, skee ball and a test your strength boxing machine.

🪓After your throwing session hang out in our common lounge areas grab a drink at from the bar and relax!

How do I book a large party?

🪓All you need to do is book 1 pit for every 8 people. Include every guest in your total including non throwers.

Why can’t we pay per person?

🪓We only charge per person if you book a single lane for up to 4 people.

🪓Charging 1 price per pit allows us to give the biggest discounts when you bring more people.

How far in advance should we book?

🪓We recommend that you book as soon as you know the day and time you want to attend. We have a limited amount of space and tend to be busiest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. To guarantee your spot you simply pay the deposit to hold the space. When you arrive you pay any remaining balance.

What is your cancelation policy?

🪓We require 48 hours notice for a refund. Within 24 hours we will re-schedule. Please let us know as soon as you know your plans need to change. We will do our best to accommodate you.

🪓In the case of inclement weather we will re-schedule your event for a future date.
